Art of Wines is owned in Australia by Jeremy Cape and Anne Currey. Jeremy and Anne have a long background of wine drinking behind them. Like most people who drink wine in Australia, we started sampling wine from casks and graduated to bottled wines via numerous wine tasting pilgrimmages to the Hunter Valley, Mudgee District, SA wine regions and Victoria. After a while we could even tell the difference between a chardonnay and a riesling!

Now we concentrate on quality and not quantity where wine is concerned. This is how we ended up starting Art of Wines. As we have added to our wine tasting experience, we have discovered that finding wines that are different or suit our tastes can be a complicated and time consuming business. If we found this there must be lots of other people who have the same experience.

We also have sister organisations in France and in Singapore. Art of Wines (France) is the original company and is run by Jean-Francois Monfraix. Jean-Francois has spent a lot of time tasting French, Italian and Spanish wines and it is based on his advice that we import wines from Europe.

Art of Wines is dedicated to finding unique wines made at small wineries by great winemakers and offering them to our customers through our website. Our aim is to take the hassle out of searching for wines.

What this means for our customers is that we have put together a unique assortment of wines that represent excellent value for money. We aren’t a wine club and we don’t discount. We believe that you know the true value of a great wine and are happy to pay for it.

We sell only wines that we have tasted and really enjoy.

We deal only with wineries that produce a small number of cases each vintage.

We focus on quality. We buy wine made by winemakers from grapes grown in their own vineyards.

We buy wine from winemakers who have a reputation for making wines of exceptional quality

Because we focus on quality most of our selected wines are available in limited quantities.

Over time our aim is to offer a number of vintages of the same wine so that we build up a long-term relationship with our customers and winery suppliers.
